Valley Metal Works recently worked with a machine building company on a project that involved fabrications for roller coaster vehicles. Our customer needed to source a part that flattened steel pipes.

We were able to collaborate with all the companies involved to custom design in-house tooling, which was then used in conjunction with our press brake to flatten pipes and hold dimensions suitable for the end application.

After the first round of production with Valley Metal Works, our customer earned a long-term position as the preferred supplier for these parts.

This project required D1.1 welding certification. High standards of design, fabrication, inspection and qualification were instrumental in the execution of the manufacturing process for this particular job.
